Panagia Ekatontapiliani, or the Church of 100 Doors, is one of the most important Byzantine monuments in Greece, located in Parikia. According to legend, the church has 99 visible doors, with the 100th hidden until the Hagia Sophia in Constantinople is reconquered. Visitors explore a complex of chapels, a baptistery, and a courtyard, all adorned with exquisite icons and frescoes. The main church features a stunning marble iconostasis and a wooden carved ceiling. The peaceful atmosphere and historical significance make it a must-see for anyone interested in religious art and architecture.
