Imerovigli is a tranquil settlement perched high on the caldera rim, often called the 'balcony of Santorini' for its unobstructed views. Unlike the crowded streets of Oia, this village offers a more refined experience, with upscale hotels and infinity pools seemingly spilling into the sea. The main attraction is Skaros Rock, a rugged promontory once home to a Venetian fortress; a short hike leads to its summit for sweeping vistas of the caldera and neighboring islands.
