Asine, perched on a rocky hill overlooking the Argolic Gulf, was an important Mycenaean and later Hellenistic settlement. Visitors climb the acropolis to see the remains of fortification walls, a Hellenistic tower, and a small theater. The site also includes a Mycenaean cemetery and a sanctuary of Apollo.
