Asine, perched on a rocky hill overlooking the Argolic Gulf, was an important Mycenaean and later Hellenistic settlement. Visitors climb the acropolis to see the remains of fortification walls, a Hellenistic tower, and a small theater. The site also includes a Mycenaean cemetery and a sanctuary of Apollo. The panoramic views of the gulf and surrounding countryside are a highlight, providing a sense of the strategic importance of this ancient city.
