Pontikonisi, or 'Mouse Island,' is a small, lush islet just off the coast of Corfu. Its most striking feature is the 12th-century Byzantine chapel of Pantokrator, which sits atop the islet, surrounded by cypress trees. Accessible only by boat, the islet is a popular subject for photographers, especially when framed by the Vlacherna Monastery's causeway. Visitors can take a short boat ride from the mainland to explore the chapel and enjoy the serene views.
