The Actian dekanaia were ancient games held every four years to celebrate Octavian's victory at the Battle of Actium in 31 BC. Located near Agios Nikolaos, the site includes remains of a stadium, a gymnasium, and other structures used for athletic and musical competitions. Visitors can walk among the ruins and imagine the spectacles that once took place, while learning about the region's Roman-era history.
