The Manhyia Palace Museum occupies the former residence of King Prempeh II, now part of the larger Manhyia Palace complex. This museum provides a unique window into the lives of Ashanti royalty, displaying personal belongings, photographs, and ceremonial items. Visitors can walk through rooms preserved as they were when the king lived there, including the throne room and bedrooms. The museum also features exhibits on the history of the Ashanti Kingdom, including the exile of Prempeh I and the return of the Golden Stool.
