Marktkirche (Market Church) is the main Protestant church in Wiesbaden, dominating the Schloßplatz with its twin 65-meter spires. Built in the neo-Gothic style, the church features a red sandstone exterior with intricate tracery and a rose window. Inside, the nave is light and airy, with tall columns and a vaulted ceiling. The church's stained-glass windows depict biblical scenes and were restored after World War II. The altar, pulpit, and organ are notable for their craftsmanship. Visitors can climb one of the towers for panoramic views of the city and the Taunus hills. The church is an active place of worship, and visitors are welcome to attend services or explore during opening hours. It is located next to the City Palace and the Kurhaus, making it a central landmark. The interior is serene, with a mix of historical and modern elements, including a modern baptismal font.
