The Kochbrunnen (Koch Fountain) is one of Wiesbaden's most famous thermal springs, located in the heart of the city. The fountain continuously flows with hot, mineral-laden water at a temperature of about 66°C (151°F), making it one of the hottest springs in Europe. The water emerges from a depth of over 2,000 feet and is rich in sodium chloride and other minerals. Visitors can see the steam rising from the fountain, especially on cooler days, and even taste the salty water from a nearby drinking spout. The surrounding area is a small park with benches, perfect for a rest. The Kochbrunnen is a symbol of Wiesbaden's identity as a spa town.
