The Kaiser Tower, built in 1902, stands on the Armeleuteberg hill and offers one of the best panoramic views of Wernigerode and the Harz Mountains. The 25-meter tall stone tower is a popular spot for hikers and day-trippers. Climb the spiral staircase to the top platform, where you can see the town's colorful half-timbered houses, the spires of St. John's Church, and the silhouette of Wernigerode Castle. On clear days, the view extends to the Brocken, the highest peak in the Harz. The surrounding parkland is ideal for a picnic or a leisurely walk. The tower is particularly beautiful at sunset when the light paints the landscape in warm hues.
