The Tübinger Stift is a renowned Protestant seminary housed in a striking Renaissance building in the heart of Tübingen's old town. Founded in the 16th century, it has educated many notable theologians, philosophers, and poets, including Johannes Kepler and Friedrich Hölderlin. The building features a distinctive facade with ornate gables and a courtyard adorned with arcades. Visitors can admire the architecture from the outside, and guided tours occasionally offer access to the interior, including the chapel and historic lecture halls. The Stift remains an active seminary, so parts of the building are not open to the public.
