The Triberg Waterfalls are a natural spectacle, plunging 163 meters in seven major cascades through a steep, forested gorge. The site is one of the most visited natural attractions in the Black Forest. A well-maintained trail with viewing platforms and bridges allows visitors to experience the falls from multiple angles, from the base to the top. The sound of rushing water, the mist, and the surrounding mossy rocks create a immersive forest experience. In winter, parts of the falls may freeze, offering a different kind of beauty. The falls are illuminated in the evenings during certain seasons, adding a magical touch.

Don't miss

  • Walk the full loop trail to see all seven cascades from different viewpoints
  • Visit in spring or after heavy rain for maximum water flow
  • See the falls illuminated during the evening light shows (seasonal)
  • Explore the adjacent Black Forest nature trails and wildlife enclosures
