Sanssouci Park is a sprawling 290-hectare landscape garden that surrounds the palace, offering a serene escape into nature and history. Designed in the 18th century, the park combines formal French-style gardens with English landscape elements. The most iconic feature is the terraced vineyard, where fig trees and grapevines cascade down six broad terraces. Wandering through the park, you'll encounter a series of architectural follies and garden buildings, including the Chinese House, the New Palace, and the Orangery Palace. The Great Fountain, with its central Neptune statue, is a focal point, though it only operates from May to October. The park is dotted with marble statues, flowerbeds, and shaded avenues, making it ideal for leisurely strolls or picnics. It's a living museum of garden art, where every turn reveals a new vista or hidden grotto.
