St. Lambert's Church (St. Lambertikirche) is the main Lutheran church in Oldenburg, located in the city center near the Schloss. Its most striking feature is the 85-meter-high tower, which dominates the skyline and offers panoramic views of the city (when open). The church's architecture is Gothic, with a hall church layout and a vaulted ceiling. Inside, visitors can see a richly carved Baroque altar from the 17th century, a Renaissance pulpit, and a historic organ that dates back to the 18th century. The stained glass windows depict biblical scenes and local saints. The church is still an active place of worship, so visitors are asked to be respectful during services. A small museum in the tower houses artifacts from the church's history. The surrounding square, Lambertiplatz, is a popular meeting point with cafes and shops.
