The Jahrtausendturm (Millennium Tower) is a striking wooden structure located in Elbauenpark, built for the 1999 Federal Garden Show. At 60 meters tall, it is one of the highest wooden towers in the world. Visitors can climb the spiral ramp to the top, enjoying panoramic views of Magdeburg and the surrounding countryside. The tower also houses an exhibition on the history of science and technology, with interactive displays. The park itself is a beautiful green space with gardens, playgrounds, and a butterfly house, making it a great family destination.
