The Gruson-Gewächshäuser are a complex of historic greenhouses located inside Elbauenpark. They house a vast collection of exotic plants, including cacti, orchids, and tropical trees. The greenhouses were originally built in the late 19th century and named after industrialist and botanist Hermann Gruson. Visitors can wander through different climate zones, from arid deserts to humid jungles. The main greenhouse, with its striking glass architecture, is a highlight. The collection includes rare species and seasonal blooms. It's a peaceful retreat, especially on cooler days, and offers educational displays about plant adaptations.
