Steuerwald Castle is a well-preserved medieval moated castle located just north of Hildesheim. Surrounded by a wide water-filled moat, the castle features a massive keep, defensive walls, and a picturesque courtyard. Today, it serves as a venue for weddings, concerts, art exhibitions, and seasonal markets. Visitors can walk around the exterior, cross the stone bridge, and explore the grounds.
