Hörselberg is a prominent mountain near Eisenach, Germany, rising to 484 meters (1,588 feet). It is part of the Hörselberge range and offers stunning panoramic views of the Thuringian Forest and the Werra Valley. The mountain is a popular destination for hikers and rock climbers, with well-marked trails leading to the summit. At the top, visitors find the Hörselberg Hut, a rustic shelter, and a lookout point with benches. The area is steeped in legend, notably the tale of the 'Hörselberg' as the entrance to the Venusberg, a mythical underworld.
