Westfalenpark is Dortmund's premier green space, covering over 70 hectares in the city center. The park is best known for the Florianturm, a 219-meter television tower offering panoramic views from its observation deck and revolving restaurant. Beyond the tower, visitors can explore extensive rose gardens featuring thousands of varieties, a large playground for children, and themed areas like the German Garden and the Japanese Garden. The park also hosts numerous events throughout the year, including open-air concerts, flea markets, and the annual Lichterfest fireworks display.
