Blomberg is a prominent peak in the Bavarian Prealps, rising to 1,248 meters above the town of Bad Tölz. It is a popular destination for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a range of activities year-round. In summer, visitors can hike up the mountain via well-marked trails, enjoying panoramic views of the Alpine foothills. The highlight is the Blombergbahn summer toboggan run, a 1.2-kilometer-long track that winds down the mountain at speeds up to 40 km/h. For the adventurous, paragliding and hang gliding are common, with a take-off site near the summit. In winter, the mountain transforms into a ski area with several slopes and a ski lift. The Blomberghaus, a mountain hut near the top, provides refreshments and a place to rest while taking in the scenery. The experience is distinctly Bavarian, with the sound of cowbells and the scent of alpine meadows accompanying your visit.
