Poti Cathedral, officially the Cathedral of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary, is a dramatic neo-Gothic structure with a pale blue and white exterior, topped by a tall central spire. Built in the early 20th century, its design is unusual for Georgia, blending Gothic revival with local Orthodox traditions. Inside, the spacious nave is filled with natural light from large windows, and the iconostasis is carved from wood. The cathedral sits in the city's main square, making it an unmissable landmark.
