Gori Fortress is a medieval citadel perched on a hilltop, dominating the city skyline. Its origins date back to the 13th century, though much of the current structure is from the 17th-18th centuries. Visitors can climb the fortress walls for sweeping views of Gori, the Mtkvari River valley, and the distant Caucasus Mountains. The site is a peaceful spot for photography and reflection on Georgia's turbulent history.
