Bijilo Forest Park, also known as Monkey Park, is a 51-hectare protected area on the Atlantic coast near Kololi. Visitors walk along well-marked trails through coastal woodland and savannah, encountering troops of green vervet monkeys and red colobus monkeys. The park is a haven for birdlife, with over 100 species including pied kingfishers, hornbills, and sunbirds. The peaceful atmosphere and easy trails make it ideal for a relaxing nature walk. The park's location behind the beachfront hotels means it's easily accessible for a short escape into Gambia's natural beauty.
