Bora Bora Airport (BOB) is located on the motu of Motu Mute, connected to the main island by a short ferry ride. Arriving by plane offers dramatic aerial views of the turquoise lagoon and Mount Otemanu. The open-air terminal is small but efficient, with a few shops and a snack bar. The boat transfer to Vaitape takes about 10 minutes and is included in most resort transfers.
