The Promenade des Anglais is Nice's iconic waterfront boulevard, stretching 7 kilometers along the Baie des Anges. Paved in a distinctive blue and white pattern, it offers a flat, leisurely path for walkers, joggers, and cyclists, with the sparkling sea on one side and elegant Belle Époque hotels and palm trees on the other. Visitors can rent a bicycle or simply sit on one of the famous blue chairs to watch the sunset. The promenade is alive with activity year-round, from rollerbladers to street performers, and provides easy access to the city's beaches. Its wide, open design makes it a central gathering place for both locals and tourists, embodying the relaxed Riviera lifestyle.
