Basilique Saint-Remi is a serene church that was part of the powerful Abbey of Saint-Remi. Its architecture spans Romanesque (11th-century nave) and Gothic (13th-century choir) periods. The interior features beautiful stained glass and the tomb of Saint Remi, the bishop who baptized Clovis. The adjacent former abbey buildings now house the Saint-Remi Museum. The basilica offers a quieter, more contemplative experience than the cathedral.
