Our dining experience at Jean Imbert au Plaza Athénée was nothing short of spectacular. We had high expectations, and they were exceeded at every turn. Opting for the Jean Imbert menu, we were treated to a thoughtfully curated journey: two amuse bouche, two exquisite starters, two perfectly executed main courses, a delightful plateau de fromages, and the show-stopping “Le Grand Dessert”—a medley of four incredible desserts prepared at your table, capped off with indulgent chocolates. The portions were surprisingly generous, a rarity in Michelin-starred dining, which made the meal feel both luxurious and satisfying. The wine sommelier elevated the evening with generous pours and impeccable recommendations, pairing each dish flawlessly. The service was warm, attentive, and perfectly orchestrated, adding to the overall magic of the experience. It was an unforgettable evening that we can’t wait to repeat. A true celebration of French gastronomy at its finest!
The atmosphere is beyond amazing, we loved everything about the interior design of this place. The service was also the best service we received in Paris and the gentleman serving us was super polite and helpful. We ordered Basket of homemade bread and pastries for the middle and scrambled eggs with cheese and vegetable and shakshouka. They all tasted extraordinary. Highly recommended 10/10
Classic French gastronomy in a spectacular setting. A great experience of what a diner would have been like 150 years ago. If you know to appreciate - besides great food - beautiful plates, spectacular silverware and cristal, this is the place to be.
The menu was poorly explained verbally leading to some over priced tasteless lobster and our group of 6 ending up with much too much desser. Other main courses were OK but not distinguished. Desserts ranged from fair to excellent. The price was over the top leading to very poor value. Otherwise the room was beautiful and the service was excellent
