Pointe de la Vicomté is a rocky headland jutting into the Rance estuary, providing one of the finest viewpoints in Dinard. From here, you can see across the water to Saint-Malo's ramparts, the tidal island of Grand Bé, and the mouth of the Rance River. The point is part of a small park with benches and grassy areas, perfect for a picnic or quiet contemplation. The vista is especially dramatic at sunset when the granite buildings of Saint-Malo glow golden. A short, easy path leads from the parking area to the tip, where interpretive panels explain the geography and wildlife. This spot is less crowded than the main beaches, offering a peaceful escape with big coastal views.

Don't miss

  • Panoramic views of Saint-Malo and the Rance estuary.
  • Sunset photography opportunities.
  • Interpretive panels about local geology and wildlife.
  • Benches for relaxing and taking in the scenery.
