Église Saint-Vincent is a striking Gothic church located in the Bastide Saint-Louis, the lower town of Carcassonne. Built between the 13th and 15th centuries, it features an unusually wide single nave (one of the widest in France) and a tall octagonal bell tower that dominates the skyline. Inside, the church is filled with 17th-century Baroque paintings and a magnificent organ. The stained-glass windows depict scenes from the life of Saint Vincent. The church's exterior is equally impressive, with a large rose window and a portal adorned with statues. It's a peaceful contrast to the busy Cité and offers a glimpse into the religious history of the medieval lower town.
