Calvi Beach is a sweeping crescent of soft golden sand that stretches for over a kilometer along the Bay of Calvi. Backed by a fragrant pine forest, the beach offers a classic Mediterranean setting with shallow, crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. The beach is well-equipped with lifeguards in summer, and several beachfront restaurants and bars serve refreshments and local seafood. Unlike some secluded coves, Calvi Beach is easily accessible on foot from the town center and train station, making it a convenient spot for a quick dip or a full day of sunbathing. The backdrop of the citadel perched on the hill adds a dramatic touch to the scenery.
Don't miss
- Swim in the calm, clear waters of the bay
- Relax under the shade of pine trees along the promenade
- Enjoy a meal at one of the beachfront restaurants
- Snorkel around the rocky edges for marine life
- Watch the sunset over the citadel from the beach
