Spiaggia di Balistra is a beautiful beach located within a lagoon environment on the southern coast of Corsica, about 15 minutes from Bonifacio. The beach features fine golden sand and very shallow, calm waters that extend far out, making it exceptionally safe for children and perfect for wading. The lagoon setting provides a unique landscape, with the beach backed by dunes and scrubland. Balistra is particularly popular for water sports such as windsurfing and kitesurfing due to the consistent winds and shallow waters. There is a small restaurant and equipment rental on site, offering convenience for a full day out. The beach can get busy in peak summer, but its size helps disperse crowds.
