The Lioness of Gobedra is a large relief carving of a lioness, measuring about 3 meters in length, etched into a granite outcrop. It is believed to date from the pre-Christian Axumite period, possibly associated with a fertility cult or royal symbolism. Visitors can hike up the hillside to view the carving up close, appreciating the skill of ancient stoneworkers.
