Ludzidzini Royal Village holds deep cultural significance as the home of the Queen Mother (Ndlovukazi) and the focal point of Eswatini's most famous ceremony, the Umhlanga Reed Dance. The village consists of traditional beehive huts and modern buildings within a large royal enclosure. During the Reed Dance, thousands of maidens gather here to present reeds and perform dances for the royal family. Outside of festival times, the village is not open to the public, but its exterior and surrounding area offer a sense of royal tradition.
