Kumu (museum)

Kumu is the flagship venue of the Art Museum of Estonia, housed in a dramatic limestone-and-glass building set into the limestone cliff of Kadriorg Park. The museum offers a comprehensive survey of Estonian art, from 18th-century portraits to Soviet-era works and contemporary installations. Visitors can trace the nation's artistic identity through thematic and chronological galleries, including a strong collection of works by the influential painter Konrad Mägi. The building itself, with its spiral ramp and light-filled atrium, is a highlight.
