Kadriorg Palace is a stunning example of Baroque architecture, commissioned by Russian Tsar Peter the Great after the Great Northern War. Set in a sprawling, manicured park, the palace now serves as a branch of the Art Museum of Estonia, displaying Dutch, German, Italian, and Russian art from the 16th to 20th centuries. Visitors can wander through ornate state rooms and galleries, then explore the adjacent Kadriorg Park with its formal gardens, swan pond, and the President's residence.
Don't miss
- The palace's grand Baroque halls and stucco ceilings
- The collection of Dutch and Flemish Old Masters
- Strolling through the formal gardens and the surrounding park
