Operation Bulmus 6 marks the location of Green Island, a heavily fortified Egyptian island in the Suez Canal that was the target of a daring Israeli commando raid in July 1969. The operation, involving elite Shayetet 13 naval commandos, successfully destroyed Egyptian radar and anti-aircraft positions. Today, the island remains a restricted military zone, but visitors can view it from the canal banks and learn about the raid at nearby museums, offering insight into the War of Attrition's intense canal battles.
