The Giza pyramid complex is the iconic archaeological site on the Giza Plateau, featuring the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure, along with their associated mortuary temples, smaller queen's pyramids, and the Great Sphinx. This necropolis was built during the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom of Egypt, around 2580–2560 BC. Visitors can explore the interior of the Great Pyramid (with a separate ticket), walk among the pyramids, and visit the Solar Boat Museum near the Great Pyramid. The complex offers a profound glimpse into ancient Egyptian engineering and burial practices.
