La Capilla del Hombre, or the Chapel of Man, is a striking museum and cultural center dedicated to the life and work of Ecuador's most famous painter, Oswaldo Guayasamín. The building itself is a work of art, with a dramatic concrete dome and expansive murals that depict themes of oppression, resistance, and hope.
