Grenen is the northernmost tip of Denmark, a dramatic sandbar stretching into the sea where the Skagerrak and Kattegat currents converge. Visitors can walk to the very end and stand with one foot in each sea, watching the waves clash. The surrounding dunes and beach offer a wild, windswept landscape perfect for a scenic stroll. A tractor-pulled sand train runs from the parking area to the point for those who prefer not to walk.

Don't miss

  • Stand at the tip where the two seas meet and waves crash together
  • Ride the sand train across the dunes to the point
  • Spot seals resting on the sandbanks offshore
