Køge Town Hall, built in the 1550s, is one of Denmark's oldest surviving Renaissance town halls. Its distinctive stepped gables and copper spire dominate the main square. Inside, the building houses a museum with exhibits on the town's history, including a notable collection of paintings and furniture. Visitors can climb the tower for panoramic views and explore the council chamber, which retains its original woodwork and frescoes.
