The Žižkov Television Tower is a striking, needle-like structure that dominates the city skyline. Designed by architect Václav Aulický, its unconventional appearance sparked debate when completed in 1992. Visitors ride an elevator to the viewing deck for panoramic vistas, while the tower's most famous feature, giant crawling babies by sculptor David Černý, climbs the exterior pillars. The tower also houses a one-room hotel and a fine-dining restaurant.
