The Church of Our Lady before Týn is a striking Gothic church with twin spires that rise dramatically above the Old Town Square. Its dark silhouette is a defining feature of Prague's skyline. Inside, visitors find a soaring nave, a Baroque altar, and the tomb of the astronomer Tycho Brahe. The church's history dates to the 14th century, and it once served as a Hussite stronghold. The interior is richly decorated with medieval and Baroque art, including a tin baptismal font and a Gothic pulpit. The church remains an active place of worship.
