Horní Věstonice is a wine village with a unique cultural draw: the Museum of the Dolní Věstonice Paleolithic Site. This museum showcases artifacts from the nearby Dolní Věstonice archaeological site, including the famous Venus of Dolní Věstonice, a ceramic figurine from the Gravettian period. The village itself is set among vineyards and offers a peaceful atmosphere. Visitors can explore the museum, then walk to the actual excavation site, which lies just outside the village. The area also provides access to the Pálava hills for hiking.
