The Mill Colonnade is the largest and most ornate of Karlovy Vary's colonnades, stretching 132 meters along the Teplá River. Built in the late 19th century in neo-Renaissance style, it shelters five hot spring sources, including the powerful Mill Spring and the Rusalka Spring. Visitors can walk beneath its elegant roof, sample warm mineral water from ornate spouts, and admire the allegorical statues and intricate carvings. This colonnade is the heart of the spa experience, where locals and tourists alike gather to take the waters and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
Don't miss
- Taste the mineral-rich water from the Mill Spring, the hottest spring in the colonnade.
- Admire the 124 Corinthian columns and the allegorical statues representing the months.
- Listen to concerts or performances held in the colonnade's central orchestra pavilion.
