The Empress Elisabeth Bridge, named after the Austrian empress, is a rare surviving example of a 19th-century chain bridge in Central Europe. Spanning the Elbe River, it links Děčín's historic core with the left bank. The bridge features elegant ironwork and stone pillars, with a pedestrian walkway that offers views of the river and surrounding hills. Though no longer open to vehicles, it remains a beloved landmark and a popular spot for a stroll. Its delicate silhouette against the landscape makes it a favorite subject for photographers.
