The Brno astronomical clock, despite its name, is not a traditional timepiece but a striking black stone sculpture resembling a bullet or cartridge. Installed in 2010 on Náměstí Svobody, it sparked debate for its unconventional design. At 11 a.m. daily, a glass ball is released from one of its openings, accompanied by a musical chime, drawing crowds. Visitors can also see intricate carvings and dials that display astronomical data, though the clock's primary appeal is its quirky, modern artistry.
