Fig Tree Bay in Protaras is a Blue Flag beach renowned for its soft golden sand and exceptionally calm, clear waters. The bay is sheltered, making it perfect for swimming and snorkeling. A small, pine-covered islet lies a short swim away, adding to the picturesque setting. The beach is lined with sunbeds and umbrellas, and the promenade offers cafes, tavernas, and shops. Despite its popularity, the beach retains a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. The name is said to come from a single fig tree that once stood on the beach, though the area is now developed.
