The Slavonski Brod Synagogue, completed in 1905, is a striking example of Moorish Revival architecture, with its distinctive horseshoe arches, ornate facade, and colorful details. It is one of the few synagogues in Croatia that survived World War II, though it was later used for other purposes. Today, it stands as a testament to the once-thriving Jewish community in the town. Visitors can admire the exterior and interior restoration, which includes a small museum about Jewish heritage in the region.

Don't miss

  • Admire the Moorish Revival facade with its intricate brickwork and horseshoe arches.
  • Visit the small museum inside to learn about the local Jewish history.
  • See the restored interior, including the original bimah and ark.
