St. Nicholas Fortress (Tvrđava sv. Nikole) is a 16th-century Venetian fortification built on the small island of Ljuljevac at the entrance to the St. Anthony Channel. Its strategic location once protected Šibenik from naval attacks. The fortress is a UNESCO World Heritage site, recognized for its exceptional Renaissance military architecture. Visitors reach it by boat, and the structure impresses with its massive stone walls, triangular shape, and well-preserved bastions.
