The Petar Kružić staircase is a historic stone stairway that climbs from the old town of Rijeka up to the Trsat hill. Named after a Croatian nobleman, the staircase features over 500 steps and is lined with old stone walls and greenery. As visitors ascend, they are rewarded with panoramic views of the city and the Kvarner Gulf. The staircase is a popular route for both locals and tourists, providing a direct and picturesque connection between the lower and upper parts of the city.
