Mirabella Fortress, also known as Peovica, is a 13th-century stronghold perched on a steep cliff above Omiš. Built by the local noble family, it served as a defensive post against pirates and invaders. Today, visitors can climb the winding stone path to reach the fortress and be rewarded with sweeping views of the town, the Cetina River estuary, and the Adriatic islands. The ruins include remnants of walls and towers, offering a glimpse into medieval military architecture. It's a short but steep hike from the old town.
